Nikhil's passion for good food and an entrepreneurial drive led to the birth of Krish. Having lived in India, London, Singapore and Australia, Nikhil chose Singapore as the country for his first venture in the food industry as it is the place that shaped him and his tastes. He acquired his culinary skills while studying in Melbourne and working in some of the leading restaurants there. At Krish, he brings together his culinary skills, Indian background and family recipes to create a unique dining experience.

Matthew Baker Chef
Matt is the Head Chef at Krish. Matt's obsession with food started when he was 16 years old and at his first job with a restaurant. Matt acquired his culinary foundation from the culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in Miami, Florida. His experience with many world-renowned chefs in leading restaurants and hotels in the United States over the past 8 years contributed to his knowledge and imagination. His unique blend of different ingredients and techniques used to create an array of delicious dishes is bound to tingle your palate.

Artika Sulaiman Co-Owner, Business Development Manager
Cheerful and always full of energy, Artika was born in Jakarta but calls Singapore her home. The fashionista's passion for food began while watching her Indonesian grandmother in the kitchen. So when Nikhil, her friend from schooldays, talked to her about setting up Krish, it didn't take her long to say yes and become a part of the founding team. She believes in personal touches and in creating something special for any guest or event. Artika is in charge of marketing and business development, as well as handling all events that are held at Krish.
